Auburn Edmond Browner Correspondence with Frank Morton Jones

Scope and Contents An entomologist, working mostly in the northeastern part of the U. S., centered in Maine. Refers to collecting and identifying Lepidoptera which was a project of Frank Morton Jones, during summers at Martha's Vineyard. Of the letters included, 173 were signed by Brower and 150 are carbons of Jones' side of the correspondence. Only a few are in holograph, most of them being typewritten. Some other authors appear and an autobiographical account of Brower may be found in the 1944 folder....
