Scope and Contents
An entomologist, working mostly in the northeastern part of the U. S., centered in Maine. Refers to collecting and identifying Lepidoptera which was a project of Frank Morton Jones, during summers at Martha's Vineyard.
Of the letters included, 173 were signed by Brower and 150 are carbons of Jones' side of the correspondence. Only a few are in holograph, most of them being typewritten. Some other authors appear and an autobiographical
account of Brower may be found in the 1944 folder....
